The Schurmann family’s sailing yacht Kat at anchor in clear blue water

Kat

For the Schurmann family’s expedition yacht, Horacio Carabelli developed the technical design of a hydraulically operated retractable keel. The system reduces draught from five metres to two, combining ocean-going stability with access to shallow waters. Yacht design by Nestor Völker.
